Theater gift

Eagles Club Manager Terry Hoffert presents Brenda Foster a check for $4,100 to the Friends of the Lyric. The funds from the check will go to purchasing the digital screen for the theater’s upgrade. To date, donations to the Friends of the Lyric total $42,094.19. Further upgrades are under way. Local electrician Dick Blomster has started the necessary work to upgrade the building’s electrical system. Earlier in the week, the speaker system was purchased. Attendance since the theater reopened two weeks ago has been brisk, selling 364 total tickets.
