North Star Community Credit Union (NSCCU) has promoted Myra Johnson, current branch manager of NSCCU’s Bottineau location, to Vice President of Lending. This is a new position that NSCCU created to support the increasing volume of loans and members. Johnson will oversee the lending department in all five NSCCU branches.

“North Star’s membership is growing and we are expanding, as I believe all credit unions across the state are,” said Cindy Hegland, president and CEO of NSCCU. “We created this position to oversee and assist all of our loan officers, and we know Myra is the perfect fit for the new position.”

Johnson started her career at the Rugby branch in June 1993, and has managed the Bottineau branch since its inception in 2002. Johnson is a native of Willow City, and currently lives in Bottineau with her husband, a local business owner.
