Motorcycle mishap south of Rugby sends man to hospital

An unidentified Canadian man was involved in a motorcycle accident approximately 14 miles south of Rugby on Saturday, Aug. 11 about 4:30 p.m. The motorcycle hit a patch of water on the road and hydroplaned and went into the ditch.

The man was wearing a helmet. He was injured and transported by Rugby Area Emergency Ambulance Service to the hospital.

Agencies involved were: Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, Border Patrol, the North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Rugby Ambulance Service.
