Project Joy Another Successful year
Rugby Lions Project Joy has wrapped-up distribution of Christmas gifts to needy families in the Rugby area. Seventy families with 191 individuals were served. Pierce County Social Services worked with the Rugby Lions Club to identify disadvantaged families in the area. Wish-list tags were put on Christmas trees set-up at Pamida, Borth’s Department Store, and Rugby Hardware Hank.
Again this year, the Warm Coats for Project Joy was added, and over 40 gently-worn coats were given out.
New this year, home daycare providers collected and donated many new and gently-used toys and books to Project Joy.
