Copies of the Pierce County History Book that was done in conjunction with the county’s 125th celebration this past summer are still available at Rugby’s Heart of America Library.

The book contains history of all the towns in Pierce County, has a section containing family histories that were submitted by county residents, and also contains a section on Rugby’s history since its beginning in 1886. The Rugby section has a special emphasis on business history in Rugby.

Also available are reprints of the county history book that was printed in 1986 in commemoration of Pierce County’s 100-year celebration. These reprints are also available at the at the library.

Both books make unique Christmas gifts.
