Leevers renovation moving ahead

By Staff | Jan 21, 2011

Leevers Foods has constructed a 30’x100′ addition to the southeast corner of the Rugby store. Twenty-five new freezers have been installed and a new heating system is up and running. The majority of the project is expected to be completed by Saturday, February 12. The project began on October 1. Customers have most likely noticed the work in progress. The week of Feb. 612 the aisles will be moved and widened so carts can easily get by, according to store manager, Bob Dahen. The store keeps up with eating trends and will be providing more and different choices to meet the demands of the public. The dairy section will be expanded with milk products inside closed doors. A new service center is part of the project. The store will have a more open look to it. A Grand Opening event will be held in March.
