Two officers to join police force
The Rugby Police Department will be back to four full-time officers later this month.
Two experienced lawmen have accepted offers to join the Rugby department.
They are: Timothy Gillespie, current police chief in Emerado, and Mark Underhill, police officer in Red Lake, Minn.
Gillespie has over 10 years of law enforcement experience and Underhill has seven.
The Rugby City Council was informed of the hirings at its Aug. 2 meeting.
Police Chief Luis Coca also announced the promotion of current officer Justin Maus to sergeant.
