Several more file for county offices
All three Pierce County Commission seats up for election this year will feature contested races. Recently, four more candidates have filed to run in those elections.
All three incumbents – Joe Bohl, district one; Richard Vetsch, district three; and David Migler, district five have filed as have three others for commission. Dave Engeland, district one; Rick Larson, district three; and Ronald Grossman, district five.
Clerk of Court Carla Marks has filed for re-election. Earlier this year, County Recorder Lori Miron also filed to run again and David Anderson has filed for the county’s representative to the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District.
Other county offices that are up for election this year include: states attorney and sheriff.
The deadline to file with the county auditor to insure a spot on the ballot is by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 9. The primary is set for June 8.
