Farmers Union Insurance will have a new home come the new year.

Construction is coming to an end on the insurance agency along Main Ave. South just north of Premier Lube and Windshield Dr. in Rugby.

“We hope to be in there by January 4,’ said Elvin Anderson, local Farmers Union Insurance agent.

The current office is located in Mack Plaza, just a short distance from the new office, so the move won’t be difficult.

As of last week, contractors were hanging doors, completing the trim and installing fixtures. The new building features two offices, a reception area and conference room. “We’re looking forward (to the move) and providing a nice office for our clients,’ Anderson said. Construction began in late summer.
