Reckless endangerment charges pending on Oregon men
Charges are pending on two Oregon men who were arrested with reckless endangerment, a Class C felony, according to a report from the Rugby Police Department.
Troy Jay Hahn and Tad Allen Ely were also charged with hindering law enforcement and discharging a firearm within city limits, both misdemeanors.
Law enforcement received several phone calls reporting gunshots coming from a residence at 812 Eastgate mobile home park in the early morning hours of Aug. 28. Law enforcement responded and made contact with the two men, who were sitting outside the residence. Later, during a search of the residence they seized two assault type rifles, magazines, ammunition and spent casings.
The two men are currently being held at Rugby’s Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center. The case is still under investigation.
