A 19-year-old Grand Forks man sustained a leg injury while working on a relative’s farm east of Rugby on June 18, requiring him to be transported to Rugby’s Heart of America Medical Center and eventually a Minot hospital.

The accident occurred on the Kevin Fritel farm approximately 13 miles east of Rugby along U.S. Highway 2, according to Gary Kraft, fire chief.

Chris Andree, a nephew to Kevin Fritel, was hurt when a trailer carrying a water tank he was unhitching fell on his leg.

The accident was reported shortly after 9 a.m., and the fire department’s rescue wagon and Rugby Ambulance responded to the call.
