Minnesota man found dead in Rugby home
A 35-year-old Fergus Fall, Minn., man was found dead in a Rugby residence on June 5, and an investigation by the Rugby Police Department determined no foul play, according to Luis Coca, police chief.
Eric Richard Anderson was a house guest at 335 6th St. S.E. Occupants discovered that he was unresponsive and not breathing. They called 911 and local law enforcement, and the Rugby Ambulance Service responded around 1:45 p.m.
It took officials about two hours to complete an initial investigation, Coca said. The body was then transported to the N.D. Medical Examiner in Bismarck to determine a cause of death, which as of last week had yet to be released.
Coca declined to release the name of the resident Anderson was staying with. “It’s a tough situation, and my heart goes out to those folks,” he said.
