Fall work on Iberdrola Renewables wind farm north of Rugby was scheduled to wrap up last week.

Below-zero temperatures were forecast this week.

Contractors set a goal of finishing at least half, or 36, of the tower foundations before suspending work until next spring.

Work began on the tower bases in October and building access roads to the tower sites from main county roads.

Next spring construction will really pick up, including erecting the 71 wind towers.
