– Tiffany Daidre Dennis, Cando, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs filed Sept. 24, 2021, in Northeast District Court before Judge Michael Hurly at the Pierce County Courthouse Jan. 31. Hurly ordered Dennis to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and any recommended treatment by a licensed addiction counselor and file proof of completion with the court by April 1. Hurly also ordered Dennis to pay $750 in total court fees in amounts of $50 per month until paid in full, with the entire balance due Dec. 31. Hurly also sentenced Dennis to 10 days at Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center, with 10 days suspended and 360 days of probation.

– William Mayo, Fargo, pleaded guilty to a C felony charge of simple assault stemming from an incident March 5, 2021. Hurly sentenced Mayo to a one-year plus one-day sentence with the North Dakota Department of Corrections, with credit for 61 days served, one year plus one day suspended and two years of supervised probation. Hurly ordered Mayo to have no contact with his victims directly, indirectly, through electronic means or through third parties, other than through an attorney or law enforcement for two years from Jan. 31, 2022, to Jan. 31, 2024. Hurly also ordered Mayo to pay $560 in total court fees. Hurly deemed C felony charges of criminal trespass and terrorizing as misdemeanors. For the criminal trespass charge, Hurly sentenced Mayo to 360 days at Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center with 360 days suspended with credit for 61 days and two years of supervised probation, to run concurrently with the sentence given for felony simple assault. For the terrorizing charge, Hurly ordered Mayo to serve 360 days at HACTC with 360 days suspended and credit for 61 days served plus two years of supervised probation, also concurrent with sentences for the other charges. Hurly ordered Mayo to serve another concurrent sentence of 360 days at HACTC, with 360 days suspended, credit for 61 days served and two years of probation after Mayo pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of simple assault. Mayo was ordered to have no contact with all victims involved in the incident for two years.
