– James Scott Zuck, Rugby, pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in Northeast District Court at the Pierce County Courthouse Monday, Sept. 20.
Judge Michael Hurly ordered Zuck to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and any recommended treatment by Dec. 19, 2021, pay $350 in total fees including a local community service fee and complete 25 hours of community service. Hurly ordered Zuck to submit to random drug testing and serve 90 days at Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center, with 90 days suspended. Additionally, Hurly sentenced Zuck to one year of probation.
– Thomas Ryan Groves, Rugby, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of theft of property. Hurly issued an order deferring the imposition of a sentence, provided Grove completes 20 hours of community service and one year of unsupervised probation. Hurly also ordered Groves to pay $545 in total fees including a $50 local community service fee.
