– Ashlen Alana Jeanotte, Belcourt, pleaded guilty to an Aug. 9 A misdemeanor charge of preventing arrest or discharge of other duties before Northeast District Judge Michael Hurly Aug. 10. Jeanotte also pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of false reports to law enforcement and an A misdemeanor charge of ingesting a controlled substance. Hurly ordered Jeanotte to serve 90 days at Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center for the preventing arrest charge concurrent with 90 days for the false reports charge and the ingesting a controlled substance charge. Hurly gave Jeanotte two 90-day sentences each for the false reports and ingesting a controlled substance charge, to be served consecutively along with the preventing arrest charge. Jenotte received credit for six days served on each count. Hurly also ordered Jeanotte to pay $25 in court fees on each count.
– Sheena Lynn St. Claire, Poplar, Mont., pleaded guilty to a June 18 C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Hurly sentenced St. Clair to a one year plus one-day sentence with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, with one year and one-day suspended. Hurly also ordered St. Claire to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and any recommended treatment, pay $525 in court fees and serve three years of probation. Hurly gave St. Claire credit for six days served on her sentence.
