– Clarence Lee Counts, Jr., Dunseith, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of driving while license privilege is suspended or revoked. Northeast Judicial District Court Judge Michael Hurly ordered Counts to pay $250 in court fees. Counts also pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Counts was sentenced to 10 days at Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center with six days suspended, credit for four days served and 360 days of probation. Counts was also ordered to pay $25 in fees for that charge.

– Jennifer Lynn LaRocque, Williston, pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs accompanied by a minor. Hurly ordered LaRocque to complete a 24/7 sobriety program, be subject to random testing, and not consume, possess or purchase alcohol. Hurly also sentenced LaRocque to a 360-day sentence at HACTC, with 351 days suspended and credit for nine days served. LaRocque was also ordered to pay $1,075 in total fees.
