– Jason Ableiter, St. Louis Park, Minn., pleaded guilty to an infraction charge of issuing a check or draft without sufficient funds or credit. Judge Michael Hurly of the Northeast Judicial District ordered Ableiter to pay $166.00 in fees and restitution, due on March 12.

– Jerome Joseph Duchscherer, Rugby, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of reckless driving March 15. Hurly ordered Duchscherer to pay $750 in fees and serve 10 days at the Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center with 10 days suspended.

– Curtis Dean Wenstad, Rolette, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of actual physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor March 15. Hurly ordered Wenstad to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment by May 15, not to purchase, possess or consume alcohol or any controlled substance without a prescription or enter a business licensed to serve alcohol until the completion of the evaluation and treatment. Wenstad was also ordered to serve 10 days at HACTC with two days served by April 15 and 360 days of probation. Wenstad was also ordered to pay $1,000 in fees.

– Shane Joseph Wiedmeier, Selz, pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer March 15. Hurly ordered Wiedmeier to serve 30 days at HACTC with 30 days suspended and 18 months of probation for the charge. Wiedmeier also pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. Wiedmeier was also ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and any recommended treatment by September 5. Hurly also ordered Wiedmeier to pay $1,275 in total fees and serve 30 days at HACTC with 30 days suspended and 18 months of probation for the charge.

– Joshua James Lehman, Rugby, pleaded guilty March 15 to an A misdemeanor charge of preventing arrest or discharge of other duties. Hurly ordered Lehman to pay $325 in fees and serve 90 days at HACTC with 90 days suspended and credit for 22 days served. Hurly also ordered Lehman to serve a probation term of 360 days. Lehman also pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Hurly ordered Lehman to pay $335 in fees for that charge and serve 22 days at HACTC with credit for 22 days served.

– Timothy Ryan Lund, Williston, pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of actual possession and control of drugs, first offense March 15. Hurly ordered Lund to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment by May 14, pay $750 in fees and serve a probation term of 360 days. Lund also pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of inhalation of volatile chemical vapors. Hurly ordered Lund to pay $25 in fees for the charge and serve 30 days at HACTC, with 30 days suspended.
