— Jesse Ernest Nadeau, Belcourt, pleaded guilty to a C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, meth, in Pierce County District Court Nov. 8. Judge Michael Hurly sentenced Nadeau to a 20 month term with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, with credit for 90 days served concurrent with a C felony judgment for tampering with physical evidence and a C felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hurly recommended Nadeau receive treatment while serving his sentence at Tompkins Rehabilitation and Correction Center. Nadeau was also ordered to pay $1,275 in total fees.

— Sierra Pearl Hale, Rugby, pleaded guilty to a B felony charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, marijuana. Hale was sentenced to a six-year term with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, with two years of supervised probation after two years served and credit for 73 days served. Hale was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and complete any recommended treatment. Hale also pleaded guilty to A misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hale was sentenced to 30 days at the Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center, with credit for 30 days served.

Hale also pleaded guilty to a C felony charge of maintaining a dwelling for use of controlled substances. She received a two-year sentence of confinement with the DOCR with two years suspended and two years of probation for the charge. Hale also pleaded guilty to an A misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was ordered to serve 30 days at HACTC, with credit for 30 days served. – Cole Martell, Belcourt,pleaded guilty to a B misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and an infraction charge of possession of marijuana, less than half an ounce. Hurly ordered Martell to pay $450 in total fines.
