An election was held Wednesday for two positions on the TGU Board of Education.

Terry W. Bailey was elected to serve on the board in the at-large position, a 3-year term, with 68 votes. Others running for that position were Jeff Kuntz (34 votes), Ida McCombs (17) and Todd Thompson, write-in (36).

Laura Lunde will represent the former Upham district, a three-year term. She was elected with 136 votes while her challenger, Shannon Hanson, received 12.

A total of 155 votes wer cast.
