Leadership transitions at HAMC
As of September, Kristen Offerdahl, RN, BAN, MSN, CDON-LTC, LNHA, transitioned from Care Center director of nursing to administrator of the Care Center at Heart of America Medical Center. The role of the administrator is to supervise, plan, develop, monitor and maintain appropriate standards of care throughout all departments in the care center.
Carlie Johnson, RN, transitioned from Resident Care coordinator to Care Center director of nursing. She is responsible for the clinical oversight of the care center. She is responsible for ensuring quality nursing care is provided and to ensure the facility has adequate and competent nursing staff.
Jenna Thompson, RN, transitioned from Resident Care coordinator to assistant director of nursing. She is responsible for assisting in the management of nursing care provided to the residents. Some of her key duties include reviewing any incidents that may occur and performing quality assurance monitoring.
