Students at Rugby High School cheered as Logan Harner and Mariann Kraft received their crowns as 2022 Homecoming King and Queen at Rugby High’s Johnsen Field on Sept. 19.

Harner, the son of John Harner and Monica Thorson, both of Rugby, plays football, basketball and baseball for the Rugby Panthers.

Kraft, daughter of David and Becky Kraft of Rugby, plays volleyball, basketball and softball for the Panthers. She also participates in band, FFA and Little Flower CYO.

The coronation capped the first day of homecoming week, which ended Sept. 23 with a parade and football game followed by a dance.

The Panthers faced the undefeated Bottineau Braves on the gridiron. Results from that game will appear in next week’s Tribune.
