School board approves revised policy readings
In a regular meeting last Tuesday morning at the Rugby High School conference room, the Rugby Public School District No. 5 Board of Education approved the first readings of two policy revisions.
The board approved the first reading of an update to the policy regarding the FFA advisor’s job description. Changes in it reflect the change from a head advisor to co-advisors.
The board approved the first reading of a revised Wellness Policy. The policy was revised after a food service audit report recommended doing so. The revision identifies members of the district’s Wellness Committee by position. Committee members include “Counselors, Food Service Staff, Principals, Superintendent, Teachers, Parents and Students.”
