Ag-mech team prepares for national convention

The Ag Mechanics team works with NDSCS instructors to prepare for National FFA Convention in October
The State-winning Ag Mechanics team that will be representing North Dakota at the National FFA Convention in October spent a day with NDSCS practicing for the upcoming competition. The students, along with RHS Ag Education instructor Travis Fritel, traveled to Wahpeton and worked with the Welding instructor, Electrical Systems instructor, Solar Panel instructor, Plumbing instructor and the Surveying instructor. The five main components of the Agricultural Technologies and Mechanical Systems Competition are Machinery and Equipment Systems, Electrical Systems, Energy Systems, Structural Systems and Environmental and Natural Resource Systems. The theme for this year’s competition is Animal Systems.
The competition will take place in Indianapolis and will be held October 17-19. Devin Vetsch, Cade Heilman, Kade Leier and Peyton Livedalen make up the representing team.
