By Staff | May 2, 2014

The Rugby High School FFA Chapter had 10 members win on the district level with their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs and advance to state competition. The North Dakota FFA selected five RHS members as final four recipients. From these four applications a winner will be announced at the State Convention on June 4.

Selected as finalists from Rugby are Kylie Scherr, Forage Production; Devin Volk, Diversified Ag Production; Cole Genetzky, Poultry Production; Austin Harmel, Wildlife Production; and Brad Heidlebaugh, Grain Production Placement. These applications will be evaluated by a committee at the state capitol. Each of the four finalists receives a plaque and the winner will also receive a check for $250 and have their application forwarded for national competition in Indianapolis this fall.
