Rugby FFA inducts Ruhland into HOF

By Staff | Apr 10, 2014

The Rugby FFA Chapter started the Rugby FFA Hall of Fame in 2007 in dedication to Quentin Christman, who taught ag in Rugby from 1969-1999. The purpose of the hall of fame is to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the FFA chapter over the years.

This year the Rugby FFA inducted Jessica (Anderson) Ruhland into the hall of fame and dedicated the 2014 annual parent-member banquet to her. Ruhland was an extremely active member in FFA, serving as the Rugby FFA secretary and the North Dakota State FFA president. While a member of the chapter she was a member of state champion judging teams in crops, quiz and parliamentary procedure.

The Rugby FFA Chapter presented Coleen Stutrud and Dave Teigen with honorary chapter degrees at the FFA Banquet on April 3. The FFA Chapter is very fortunate to have adults in our community like Stutrud and Teigen, who contribute to FFA. Both these individuals have given unselfishly of their time to help benefit the Rugby FFA and the Rugby Ag Ed Department.
