Little Flower hires new principal
Little Flower Catholic School will have a new principal this fall.
Jorgen Knutson will replace Charlie Epperson, who served as principal for one year.
Knutson comes to Little Flower after working in Dunseith as a junior high administrator, according to Fr. Tom Graner.
Graner, a Little Flower School Board member and pastor at the church, said he first met Knutson while in Rolette.
“I knew Jorgen when I was in Rolette,” Graner said. “He was the principal at Rolette and I was at Sacred Heart Parish.”
Graner said Knutson’s experience will be a great asset for the school.
“He’ll be starting this coming week,” Graner said. “He’s been down already for a couple of meetings. He’s a life-long educator with a lot of experience.”
Graner said Knutson’s wife, Faith, is a librarian and AV technician with the Belcourt schools, and the couple has three adult daughters.
“They were members of the Sacred Heart Parish when I was there,” Graner said.
