Imagination Library kicks off in Rugby on April 15
Imagination Library, a new program coming to Rugby, is kicking off on Sunday, April 15 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rugby Public Library. Kids of all ages will enjoy food, fun, games and, of course, reading!
This program was started by Dolly Parton and is a 60-volume set of books beginning with the children’s classic The Little Engine That Could. Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home for free! There is no cost or obligation to your family. All preschool children age birth through four who reside in the Rugby Public School District are eligible!
Families will have the opportunity to sign up for this free program at the kick-off event on April 15. Every child who signs up during the kick-off event will receive a free book to take home!
ND’s First Lady Betsy Dalrymple will join this event as a guest reader from 12:00-12:30 p.m. with photo opportunities afterward. Other local “celebrity” guest readers will also read books to kids at the kick-off event. Don’t miss it!
