Rugby Schools set dates for registration
Ely registration starts Aug. 16
Ely Elementary registration for all students in kindergarten through sixth grade will take place Tuesday, August 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ely cafeteria. All new students are to bring immunization records and birth certificates. The first day of school for all students will be Thursday, Sept. 1.

Little Flower registration starts Aug. 16
Little Flower Elementary registration for all students in grades preschool through sixth grade will take place Tuesday, August 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All new students are to bring immunization records and birth certificates. The first day of school for all students will be Thursday, September 1.

RHS registration starts Aug. 29
Registration for Rugby Jr. and Sr. High School Students in grades 7-12 will be held on Monday and Tuesday, August 29-30 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and from 12:30-4:00 p.m. Due to the building construction at the high school, registration will be held in the cafeteria at the Ely Elementary School. Students will not be able to have access to the Junior and Senior High School until the first day of school. School will begin on September 1 at 8:40 a.m. Students needing schedule changes should see Mr. Zwingel or Mrs. Sjol during the scheduled registration times on Monday and Tuesday at Ely School.
Reminders for parents and students for the start of school:
Parents: When purchasing school clothes for this year, please consider the Rugby Public Schools Dress Code Guidelines for apparel that is appropriate for school.
No clothing that exposes undergarments.
Skirts, dresses and shorts must be properly fitted and may not be shorter than mid-thigh.
No spaghetti strap or halter top shirts without an over shirt will be permitted. Shoulder straps have to be a minimum of one inch wide. No shirts or blouses that expose cleavage will be permitted.
No bare midriff shirts or blouses will be permitted. “Tops must touch bottoms.”
No see-through or mesh garments may be worn which expose undergarments or inappropriate body parts.
Articles of clothing such as T-shirts with writing or pictures on them are prohibited if such material is suggestive, obscene or advertises or promotes the use of alcohol, tobacco or other harmful or illegal substances.
Parents: Please remind your child that all cell phones and personal musical devices (iPods, MP3’s, etc…) should not be on during school hours and should be kept out of sight.
