Wolford FBLA Chapter attends State Leadership Conference

The Wolford Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter attended the 44th annual State Leadership Conference in Grand Forks March 27-29. The theme of this year’s conference was “Breaking Barriers.” The following students participated in the following events: Josh Morrow, Intro to Business; Alyssa Graber, Intro to Business, Intro to Business Communications; Tonya Slaubaugh, Intro to Business, Intro to Business Communications; Tylor Deplazes, Business Math, Word Processing I; Weston Slaubaugh, Accounting I, Business Ethics; Jonathan Slaubaugh, Accounting I, Business Ethics; Taylor Armstrong, Job Interview, Accounting I; Kali Walsh, Accounting I, Public Speaking II; Cambria Slaubaugh, Desktop Publishing, Business Procedures. Kylee Slaubaugh was recognized as the chapter’s Who’s Who recipient; Tonya Slaubaugh placed 8th in Intro to Business Communications. Cambria Slaubaugh placed 1st in Business Procedures and will represent North Dakota at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla., June 28-July 1. Over 1,300 students from across North Dakota participated in the event and had the opportunity to network, compete, succeed, learn, have fun, and grow in their knowledge of business. The Wolford chapter was chartered Oct. 15, 2003, and is advised by Mr. Gabe Kippley.
