The 2011 All-State Music Festival will be held March 20-22 at the Bismarck Civic Center. Ten students from RHS went to Minot High School-Magic City Campus to audition for this event. The following students were chosen: Rachel Mack (right) and Aubrey Hovland (left), both band, and David Miller (center), mixed chorus. It is a high honor to be chosen to participate in these groups because the competition is difficult and covers the entire state. Over 450 students will be singing or playing instruments in six different groups: Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Choir, Mixed Chorus, Orchestra, Women’s Chorus, and Band. The mixed chorus concert will be held Tuesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. The band concert will also be held on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $8.00 per person.
