Homecoming events in Leeds

Leeds School will conduct its Homecoming activities this week, Sept. 27-Oct. 1, which include dress up days, fun competitions, a parade, pep rally, coronation, a football game and dance.

The King and Queen candidates were announced last week. King candidates are: Zylar Follman, Blake Darling, Brady Blazer, Michael Urness and Logan Gunderson. Queen candidates are:?Lauren Olson, Jaycee Johnson, Jessica Bingham, Kendra Leibfried and Marissa Kutz. Coronation will be held on Friday afternoon, Oct. 1, during the pep rally. Here’s a list of the activities.

Monday, Sept. 27

Dress Up Day: Nerd Day

Tuesday, Sept. 28

Dress Up Day: Lion Day.

Wednesday, Sept. 29

Dress Up Day: Class Theme Day; Flag football (Volleyball Team vs. Football Team), 2 p.m.; Exhibition Volleyball (Volleyball Team vs. Football Team), 2:30 p.m.; Class Tug-o’-War, 3 p.m. in gym

Thursday, Sept. 30

Dress Up Day: Hero Day

Friday, Oct. 1

Dress Up Day: Wildcat Day; Parade in Leeds, 1:30 p.m.; pep rally and coronation, following parade; football game, 7 p.m.; dance from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. at community center.
