Rugby students to perform plays

By Staff | Feb 26, 2010

Rugby students will be performing two short and episodic-style plays this Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Tilman Hovland Auditorium at Rugby Jr.-Sr. High. The cast includes 21. The first play is a one-act entitled, “Sixty Second Singles” by Jon Jory. It is a take-off of reality-TV and shows couples dating for 60 seconds to see if they are compatible. The second play is a two-act entitled, “Marcus is Walking” by Joan Ackerman. All the vignettes are centered around incidents that happen in a car. Americans are closely tied to their automobiles and this play humorously examines some of these connections. The plays are under the direction of Bonita Lindseth. Admission will be a freewill offering. Cast: Abi Jenkins, Theresa Mack, Zach Rameden, Josie Klein, Jessica Harmel, Tyler Larson, Steven Mudra, Eric Burns, Janessa Veach, Heather Duncan, Marissa Rude, David Miller, Naomi Cobb, Kristan Salwey, Sami Rozmarynowski, Maddie Cameron, Brittany Kleespie, Levi Bachman Williams and Tyler Schmaltz.
