Senior Abi Jenkins placed second in extemporaneous speaking, and three other Rugby students placed in speech categories at a meet in Carrington on Feb. 6.

Eighth grader Kelsey Schmaltz was sixth in radio broadcasting and sophomore Janessa Veach was seventh in speech to entertain and eighth in extemporaneous speaking. Jenkins and senior Theresa Mack placed seventh in humorous duo.
