TGU-Towner homecoming events planned

Towner School will be conducting its homecoming festivities this upcoming week, Sept. 14-18.

Some of the main events include coronation on Monday evening, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. in the high school gym. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, with a pep rally to follow. A tailgate party will precede T-G-U’s football against North Star at 7 p.m. The dance in the gym will run from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and is open to grades 7-12. In addition, several in-school events are planned throughout the week, including dress-up days. Monday- Decade Day; Tuesday-Pool Party Day; Wednesday-Camo Day; Thursday-Rock Star Day; Friday-Titan Spirit Day.

The eight homecoming candidates were recdently announced. King candidates include: Matthew Drader, son of David and Yvonne Drader; Trevin Hall, son of Maynard and Tracey Hall; Tyler Vollmer, son of Jesse and Lynnette Vollmer; and Daniel Syvertson, son of Rick and Pam Syvertson.

Queen candidates include: Chelsea Sebastian, daughter of Doug Sebastian; Taylor Stone, daughter of Lynn Stone and Robert Stone; Courtney Hanson, daughter of Daniel and Theresa Gunter and Randy Hanson; and Emma Rognlien, daughter of John and Max Rognlien.
