Thanks to everyone that stopped by the Book Sale.

There will be Story Hour on Friday, Oct. 30, at 10:15 a.m.

We have Nicholas Sparks’ newest novel, “The Return”, on the shelves now. This best seller is about an injured Navy doctor and two women whose secrets will change the course of his life.

“Three-Ring Circus: Kobe, Shaq, Phil and the crazy years of the Lakers dynasty” by Jeff Pearlman is new to the adult non-fiction section.

The new junior easy books are “Mouse in the House” by Russell Ayto, “If You Give a Pig a Party” by Laura Joffe Numeroff, and “The Most Beautiful Thing” by Kao Kalia Yang.

There are two new series in the junior non-fiction section. One is by Marysa Storm with titles “Motorcycles”, “Dirt Bikes”, “Formula 1 Cars”, “Indy Cars”, “Stock Cars” and “Super Cars”. The other is for the crafters out there with the titles “Rock Crafts”, “Stick Crafts”, “Leaf Crafts” and “Sand Crafts”.

The young adult fiction section had the following additions from Lorimer SideStreets: “Cold Grab” by Steven Barwin; “Fight Back” by Brent Sherrard; “Push Back” by Karen Spafford-Fitz; and “Locked Up” by Cristy Watson. These novels are fast-paced and combine real-world themes and believable characters to make short heart-stopping books.

New magazines this week are Farmhouse Style, Love of Quilting, Consumer Reports, Eating Well, People, and Quilter’s World.
