Nicole Renae Larson and George Brandon Herman announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Kevin and Renae Larson of Cando, and Reg and Eileen Herman of Brinsmade.

Larson is a graduate of Cando High School and is attending Minnesota State University, Moorhead, to acquire a degree in Elementary Education.

Herman is a graduate of Leeds High School and a recent graduate of NDSU with a B.S. degree in Agriculture Economics. He is farming on the Hermansdale farm near Brinsmade.

A Dec. 18, 2010, wedding is planned for 5:00 p.m. at Cando Lutheran Church. A reception and dance will follow at the Memorial building in Cando.
