Eugene and Donna (Long) Hammer, of Fargo, formerly of Rugby, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were married Aug. 21, 1965, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake.

Eugene retired from Otter Tail Power Company, Rugby, and Donna worked in the accounting department at Heart of America Medical Center before moving to Fargo.

They have two children, Lisa Hammer, Kilkenny, Minn., and Brent (Janet) Hammer, Farmington, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
