A warm, light breeze with scant raindrops provided ideal conditions for Rugby High track and field athletes at the Harvey/Wells County meet Tuesday.

RHS coach Bill Jansen described the day as "nice."

"We had a good day today. We're rounding into shape (for the season). We're getting things qualified that we need to."
