RHS trapshooters take first as team at state

Rugby High School’s trapshooting team took first place as a team in Class 1A at the state tournament last weekend.

Kyla Radomski won high gun for varsity females, scoring 95 points.

Rugby placed first in varsity team totals, hitting 477. Leading the team in scoring were Seth Jaeger (98), Kordell Kraft (97), Blair Kuhnhenn (96) and Radomski.

Rugby’s Kordell Kraft had both the highest overall season average and highest season average for males in Class 1A-Conference 5 with 24.2. Teammate Seth Jaeger was not too far behind with a season average of 24. Radomski had the highest season average for females in the conference with 23.3.

Both Kraft and Jaeger also made it into the 50-straight club on the tournament.

Oakes’ Landon Hill took home this year’s Class 1A championship title.
