Village Arts to present murder mystery dinner theater fundraiser

Jill Roberts will be directing this hilarious 30 year class reunion cruise, navigating around the murderous plot twists. You won't want to miss this production and dinner! This production will feature some old and new actors. Village Arts welcomes newcomers Holly Niemi, Jennifer Mattson and Tanya Lashman as well as old favorites, Steve and Renae Dockter, Chad Hager, Brian Linstrom, Diane Arstein, Brenda Oppen, Bryce and Jacob Berginski and Karen Miller to our stage. The event will be held at the Rugby Eagles club. It will begin at 6pm on March 24th with drinks on the cruise ship deck followed by a fabulous three-course meal provided by The Slavic Heritage Farm and Food Hub. There will be a dessert auction. Each table will be able to bid for their favorite desserts which are being prepared by each of the local restaurants (3rd Street Station, Rockin' Relics, Dakota Farms, Dairy Queen, Rancho Grande, Coffee Cottage and Leevers Foods) and local bakers; Stacey Schmaltz, Chuck Repnow, The Farmer's Wife, Slavic Heritage Farms, Stacey Atkinson, and Keri's Baking Obsession. There also will be silent Auction items donated by area residents and businesses.

All seats must be reserved and paid for by March 16 by calling or texting Jodi Schaan at 701-771-9796 reservations are $40 each.

Village Arts has been actively promoting interest and activities in the Arts for local citizens in Rugby and the surrounding area for the past 51 years! The local Arts organization provides area residents with access to participate in such areas as orchestra, community choir, children's and adult's theatre, dance, visual arts, Art for Life, and writing.
