A memorial service for Everett Jelleberg, age 90 ofBottineau, was held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Officiating at the service was Pastor Ben Carlson. Shelia Bertsch was the organist and the congregation sang "How Great Thou Art" and "What a Friend We Have In Jesus" Inurnment will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau.

Everett Lyle Jelleberg, a son of Louis and Julia (Vettern) Jelleberg was born on the homestead in the Turtle Mountains on October 19, 1927. He attended Jelleberg School in the Turtle Mountains until the end of 8th grade and later graduated from Bottineau High School in May 1945. He entered the US Army in September of 1945 and served in Okinawa and the Philippines as a Military Policeman and then as a postal worker. He was discharged in 1947 and returned to Bottineau. Everett worked as a lineman, night foreman on the Lake Metigoshe road, and on a seismograph crew in ND and Wyoming. He also worked at Ocean Spray Cranberry Farm in Washington State from October 1957 to March 1958. Everett married Sadie June Fay on September 24, 1954 in Rugby, ND and they were married for 63 years. He

began farming in November 1954 and retired in 2005.He served on the board of Federal Land Bank. He loved hunting fishing, skiing, and auction sales. He was an outstanding farmer and worked very hard.

Everett loved his children, his grandchildren and his great grandson. He loved watching hockey especially his son and his 2 grandchildren (Sam and Adyson). He was also an avid fan at the Lumber Dome hockey arena.

Everett passed away peacefully on December 17, 2017 at St Andrew's Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie of Bottineau; daughters, Jackie (Jerome) Migler of Bottineau, Susan Jelleberg of Minot, and Sally Jelleberg of Bottineau; son, Bob of Bottineau; grandchildren, Jessica (Dan Sagisser) of St. Paul, MN, Jakob Migler of Arvada, CO, Jennifer Johnson-Kurth (Aaron) of Minneapolis, MN, Frank (Lisa) Swiontek of Grand Forks, Katie Johnson of Minot, Chennettee Jelleberg of Portland, Oregon, Sam Jelleberg of Fargo, and Adyson Jelleberg of Bottineau and great grandson, Everett Swiontek, sister in laws, brother in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, lrene (Norman) Larshus and brothers, Omar, Lloyd, Enie, and Harold.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Annie's House and First Lutheran Church, Bottineau
