James Cyril Tuchscherer, 83, Rugby, died on January 20, 2017 at Trinity Homes in Minot, North Dakota. He was born on February 6, 1933 to Kasper and Mary (Selen-

sky) Tuchscherer in Rugby. He was raised on a farm near Rugby, lived and farmed there until he moved to Rugby. Jim resided at the Harold S. Haaland Home for 11

years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4136. He enjoyed collecting coins, gardening and raising livestock on the farm. He should be remembered as a man that liked to have fun and laugh.

Jim is survived by his brother Rev. Vincent J. Tuchscherer and his sister Delores Roller, both of Fargo and a special niece, Margie Zietz of Burlington and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dominick, Roy, and Frank, and sisters Catherine Brandon, Magdaline Herbage, Annemarie Weiler, and Francis Bachmeier .

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Rev. Thomas Graner and Rev. Vincent J. Tuchscherer will officiate the mass. Glenda Mack will be the organist and Robert Graber will be the song leader. Casket bearers will be Ed, Steve Brossart, Gerold Pfeifer, Ron Volk, Cole, Craig, and Nicholas Zietz.

Mr. Tuchscherer will be buried in Little Flower Catholic Cemetery in Rugby in the spring.

Visitation will be on January 26th from 12:30 P.M. until the time of the service at Little Flower Church. Niewoehner Funeral Home Rugby 701-776-6222
