CYO Provides Warmth For Winter

November 13, 2015
Pierce County Tribune

The members of Little Flower CYO would like to thank the Rugby Community for their generous support of this year's Annual CYO AMAZING RACE. Each year the Little Flower CYO kicks off the year with a fall community service project, called the "Amazing Race". This year the CYO worked, in conjunction with Northern Plains Electric Cooperative, to collect lightly used winter coats and other winter wear.

On the evening of October 31 , the CYO membership divided into 5 teams and raced through town, knocking on doors and collecting over 400 items. These were sorted, folded, washed and delivered to Northern Plains Electric Co-op in Cando, to be distributed to the Turtle Mountain and Fort Totten reservation communities during the month of November.

Thank you to all who helped support the CYO in their annual "Amazing Race". It was Amazing to see the support and participation of our town in this community service.
