Rugby students to receive scholarships

November 22, 2013
Pierce County Tribune

The Rugby chapter of the North Dakota Dollars for Scholars program received a $1,000 scholarship donation from the bank of North Dakota on Nov. 2 in Bismarck. Scholarships of $500 will be awarded to a Rugby High School graduate from the class of 2014 and a recent graduate attending college.

Frisbee toss contests at football games, a 50/50 raffle and the annual gala schedule for March 15, 2014, will help increase the funds available for the students. Donations can be dropped off at Bremar Bank in Rugby.

Winners of this year's frisbee tosses include Dominic Cote, Benji Miller and Terri Lemar.
