September 13, 2013
Pierce County Tribune

For nearly four decades, the Heart of America Concert Series has been bringing in acts from all over the United States and the world. This year is no different, and it opens on Monday, September 16 with a trip to Devils Lake, to "the beach".

The Unexpected Surfer Boys are a quartet of Broadway veterans who complement their act with hits from the Beach Boys. On Sept. 16 they will take the stage at the Robert Fawcett Auditorium in Devils Lake at 7:30 p.m.

The first act to come to the Tilman Hovland Auditorium in Rugby won't be until Sunday, October 27, when the Abrams Brothers, a Canadian quartet whose music is a combination of bluegrass, folk and country, will take the stage.
