Heart of America Medical Center (HAMC) in Rugby recently hired a new plant operations and safety director, Scott Craun. Prior to this, Scott worked as a value stream manager at Rugby Manufacturing. He moved to Rugby over a year ago from Trabuco Canyon, California, where he worked in the aerospace industry for 29 years.

In the area, Scott is a hockey ref and enjoys spending time with his Australian shepherd, Kipper. His wife, Sheila, still resides in California and will be joining him in Rugby. They have a grown son, Jeff.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to work at HAMC," Scott says. "It is an excellent group of people, and everyone has been helpful and friendly." He stresses that if anyone has any concerns regarding the plant operations and safety at HAMC, they should contact him. "We are a service industry, and we want to help people."
