Dale and Martha Hawk 22nd Annual Antique Farm Show set for June 10-12

The 22nd Annual Antique Farm Show held at the Dale and Martha Hawk Museum near Wolford promises something for everyone. This event is Friday, June 10, Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12 with parades every day at 4 p.m.

This journey back in time features horses, tractors, farm equipment and the village. Ride in a wagon pulled by Halvorson's Clydesdales,

The ice cream parlor, old doughnut machine, old popcorn machine, working blacksmith shop and school demonstrate how work was done in an earlier era. Sawmill log cutting, machine threshing, and lumber planing in addition to working steam engines will all be on display. Old time music is played all day.

A Grand Opening of the "Vintage Clothing Display" will be held during this weekend of events. A craft show and flea market will keep people occupied, as well. Kids can attend old time classes in the school on Friday, June 10 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

When a person gets hungry, the options are burgers and menu by the Wolford Wildlife Club, Martha's Kitchen with a taste tempting menu and breakfast daily starting at 7 a.m. The Snack Shack by the sawmill offers food all day, as well.

That is in addition to a special supper each night. Thursday is a lasagna supper followed by a 7:30 p.m. movie at Mylo Hall. The movie is "Ted Ohlsen: What the Byes Don't See." On Friday night is BBQ ribs for supper with a talent show and dance following at 7 p.m. Entries are still accepted by calling 656-3678. Prime rib supper is on the menu for the 5:30 p.m. supper on Saturday night followed by a dance at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, an All Faiths Service begins at 9 a.m. followed by a noon meal of fried chicken. If you weren't hungry before, you are now!

Services provided at the Dale and Martha Hawk Museum include; camping, restrooms and showers, shuttle service, handicap parking, security provided by the Rolette County Sheriff's Dept., and an ambulance provided by Rolette and Rolla.
