Ganje completes basic training

Pvt. Brett A. Ganje, of Rugby, has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Ganje attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Benning, Ga.He then attended Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 14 weeks of military occupational schooling at Fort Lee, Va., graduating Nov. 3, 2010.

Prior to his training, Ganje was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Devils Lake, which prepared him for his military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks.Since the completion of his training, Ganje has been assigned to Detachment 2, 132nd Quartermaster Co. in Rugby as a Water Treatment Specialist (92W).

He is the son of Bruce Ganje, Rugby, and Christy St. Claire, Dunseith.
