MADDOCK - It was a must-win game for Benson County to keep its faint 9-man playoff hopes alive.

Wells County running back Travis Flick had other ideas.

The senior rushed for five scores, including the first four in the Bears' 53-12 Region 4 win over Benson County here on Sept. 17.

Flick had scores of 76, 56, 4, 2 and 23 yards.

The Wildcats trailed only 7-0 after one quarter, but the scoring barrage for the Bears began in the second quarter, finding the end zone three times and then three more in the third quarter to pull away.

BC's two scores came in the third quarter. Senior J.D. Schmid ran for a 65-yard score and added a 71-yarder later in the quarter.
